FAQ & Privacy
Gicleé reproductions – (pronounced “zhee-klay”) – Gicleé is a general term for an extremely high-resolution digital print based on an original piece of artwork. The artwork is captured digitally and converted into a very high-resolution digital file that is optimized for colour and accuracy to the satisfaction for the printer and artist. Gicleé prints are created using a state-of-the-art, professional 8-colour to 12-colour inkjet printer and are printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art and photo base paper. They are characterized by excellent saturation and depth of colour.
Giclee Open edition Prints – Open edition is an edition that is limited only by the number that can be sold or produced before the plate wears or in case of digital print it is limited only by market demand and the artist’s decision to produce the print.
Sizes shown are approximate image sizes; there is 2″ additional trim on Paper prints; 2.5″ additional trim on Canvas prints.
All canvas and paper prints ship unstretched unless otherwise requested.
Other Options: Please contact me for stretching, framing or prints available on acrylic, aluminum, or other surfaces.
Limited Edition Prints are limited by the number authorized by the copyright holder.
Embellished Prints are enriched by adding extra layers of texture by hand that enhances the image visually. Each embellished print is one of a kind.
Please note: Every attempt is made for the best visual representation of my artwork online. All computer screens represent coloration and contrast differently. Due to the high resolution of the photographic captures brush strokes may be visible in the online version but will be less visible in the printed versions. The goal of all reproductions is to most accurately match the color of the original artwork.
